The former romantic comedy queen Meg Ryan is going on a real life journey of romantic life as she is set to marry John Mellencamp in July 2011. Margaret was born on the 19th November 1961, in Fairfield, Connecticut. Meg Ryan‘s first significant role was as Betsy Stewart Montgomery Andropoulos in the soap opera As the World Turns 1982 – 1984. In the mid-1980s, her film career began to heat up with part of the wildly successful military action drama 1986 Top Gun with Tom Cruise and Anthony Edwards. She then went on to co-star with Dennis Quaid in Innerspace (1987) and DOA (1988). Meg Ryan later married Quaid in 1991.
