Dolly Parton is to release a new album and is going to go to Australia to do a string of concerts this November. Dolly Parton was born Dolly Rebecca Parton on January 19, 1946 in Locust Ridge, Tennessee. Dolly Parton has learned since early age to use music as an escape from her poor life among her 12 brother and sisters. By the age of 11 years, she was singing on local radio station, and after graduating from high school, he moved to Nashville to pursue a career in music.
Dolly Parton’s early career
Dolly Parton launched her solo career in 1967, and although it is in partnership with Porter Wagoner for his TV show 1967-1975, has remained primarily a solo act. In 1999, she returned to the acoustics of the Grass is blue, which won the Grammy for best bluegrass album. Dolly Parton was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2000.
Dolly Parton in Acting

After so much writing their own hits, Dolly Parton has written songs for the new hit musical based on her earlier workplace comedy, 9-5. Show debut in fall 2008 in Los Angeles, before a brief Broadway run.
